Bonkers stat: Between 1980 up and until 2022, Spain had never lost a world cup match which wasn't against the host nation. They'd drawn or won them all. Except... When they lost 1-0 to Brazil in 86 (Mexico hosts) When they lost to Belgium on penalties in 86 knockout When they lost to Yugoslavia in ...

jesus lads....are people actually doing the fat jabs ? It’s probably the biggest health breakthrough in the last 30 years. There’s family I have in the States who could barely walk who are now walking around and living fulfilling lives. At a more moderate level I’m seeing people look 10 years young...

I saw Captain America’s is closing down? Cocktail happy hour was deadly there back in the day. Literally. The concoctions there could kill you. But that chicken enchilada was hangover proof. And rebranding as Grafton Tavern. What a terrible name I still go it to every time I am over, the steak faji...

Madueke was never a penalty, he wraps his around and pulls the defender down. Arsenal great 0.01xg from 2nd half through to the end of extra time. What a disgusting display of anti football. Sam Allardyce and Sean Dyche would have created more chances. Arsenal got away with Sakas handball in the box...

The longer Frank was at Spurs, the worse they played. His last 6 games they conceded at least 2 goals, which is bad for the coach who was supposed to make them “defensively solid.” His team hadn’t a clue what to do with the ball. And when Tudor arrived the fitness standards were through the floor. ...

Brentford had a very set system built around stats, the whole moneyball angle etc. but Brentford have continued to do well after his departure suggesting he was a cog in a wheel, an important cog who undoubtedly put a lot of the structure in place, but a cog none the less. That structure didn't exi...

So, my Spurs stay up which probably means another year of the same. I was hoping that we could be relegated and then that might spur (intended) a rebuild. Get rid of Richarlison, Solanke and Moani (whose loan has just ended). 2 new forwards with actually proven scoring record and elite quality are ...

I've seen Muse mentioned here a few times. If anything they are underrated. Origin of Symmetry, Absolution and then Black Holes and Revelations is up there as a 3 album run with any bands in the 2000s to current day. Insanely good live band too

If Spurs go down... I hope Liverpool try and buy Conor Gallagher. He's the sort of number 8 they need. Someone with energy in that midfield. He'd be better suited than Wharton for them. Spurs fans are decrying Gallagher as a poor signing for a side threatened by relegation and you want to sign him?...
