Re: How is your local club getting on?
Moved back to y childhood home and back watching my childhood club which is Luctonians in National 2 West. 1st XV currently 3rd in the league with a promotion to National 1 a possibility. But it is the 2nd XV who deserve the plaudits. They have gone 51 league games unbeaten, quite a record. Am amazi...

Not new, but new to me: Loudermilk on Netflix. Comedy drama centred on an AA group and it's leader. Just binged the first season (boom-boom) and looking forward to more. Dry humour. Suits the dark subject matter. Ironically. Actor whose name I can never remember is the lead. Played another boozehou...

Re: Best out of position XV
It's hard to pick a team of players playing completely out of position but very easy to find locks playing in the backrow or vice versa, halves moving to the other position, centres moving in or out etc. May have made this up or got it slightly wrong but pretty sure Scotland started a game in 80's ...

Alan Bateman in the centre. Dont think you will ever find anyone with a bad word for him. Top bloke. Was the speaker (when retired) at Heol Y Cyw dinner and then ended playing for them for a few years. Met him down in St Davids when we were on tour and was great company.

Wearing gloves to mini rugby in about 81/82. It was January, the pitch was frozen but still pointed out to me that you don't wear gloves! School U15s training on Thursday before game always had a bit of a game to finish off and our fly half always liked handing off people. I hated being handed off a...

Any Cardiff and District game vs Llanrumney Legion (now disbanded) was good for a scrap. Came up from a ruck to see their No8 filling in our flanker (who got filled a lot tbh). Grabbed their 8 by the scruff of his shirt and told him to get off. He tells me to f**k off and a very tense Mexican stand ...

29 years not long enough and the father should have more too. Its his job to protect his child.
The bit I found so upsetting was how aware the poor child was "Nobody loves me" "Nobody is going to feed me"
I hope they live in fear every single day in prison
