It's hard to pick a team of players playing completely out of position but very easy to find locks playing in the backrow or vice versa, halves moving to the other position, centres moving in or out etc. May have made this up or got it slightly wrong but pretty sure Scotland started a game in 80's ...

Alan Bateman in the centre. Dont think you will ever find anyone with a bad word for him. Top bloke. Was the speaker (when retired) at Heol Y Cyw dinner and then ended playing for them for a few years. Met him down in St Davids when we were on tour and was great company.

Yeah, it's good fun a bit of boys own daring do. Not 100% accurate, listen to the boys on The we have ways of making you talk podcast telling you the Bedford truck had the wrong tyres etc< but its not a documentary its entertainment.

I remember getting very excited for this back in 89 and then seeing the team sheet and that excitement waning somewhat.

It's got potential if at the end of the tour it's a final hurrah for the 2nd XV vs an Aus/NZ babas but that aint going to fill a 100k seats
