Re: 2023/2024 European Champions Cup
I think the biggest issue right now is the flight schedules. The SA teams are currently spending up to 24 hours flying to Europe that should be a 10 hour flight. Basically they are spending the same amount of time on flights right now as they did in Super Rugby, minus the time difference. If SA rugb...

Holy shit, episode 3 was good. The producers ended the episode in a weird place but whatever. Can’t wait for episode 4. Yes that was banging. Listening to Rassie is fascinating. They could make an entire documentary on the France SA game. Just simply incredible. Yeah I think this was the best episo...

Re: 2023/2024 European Champions Cup
There was huge wind, otherwise I feel he would have nailed it. Yeah, very difficult kick from that side for him in the wind. Would have been much easier from the other side. Try aside his kicking from hand was way off all day. Great running threat but not a top quality 10. Surely Willemse would be ...

Libbok's kicking game is woeful. There was huge wind, otherwise I feel he would have nailed it. Yeah, very difficult kick from that side for him in the wind. Would have been much easier from the other side. If Willemse did not try to be fancy, he would have had that kick from the correct side

Great job La Rochelle ! The commentators said it's the first win ever for a foreign team in South Africa in the Champions cup. That's pretty impressive. La Rochelle has not been too good this season in the Champions cup and the Top 14 but today they certainly showed up  They are a good cup...

Re: 2023/2024 European Champions Cup
Hard Luck stormers. I do think the ref allowed LAR to get away with a bit, specially with the LAR players resting their legs/bodies on players when stealing the ball. At one stage in the 2nd half you could hear a stormers player telling the ref that LAR use are not keeping on their feet but resting ...

How was the Lyon try allowed to stand? Im in the stadium and it looked like the game was stopped and water boys even came on for Lyon. And then suddenly he takes a tap. The crowd was not happy with that try.

Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread
I definitely think Southgate has underachieved with England considering the group of players he had to choose from over the years. With a proper manager. England most likely would have won one of the last 2 major tournaments. The group of players he has available makes him look better than he is in ...

Hope Chris Smith gets pulled relatively early in the 2nd half. He is so slow in his decision making, delaying everything. There were several attacking chances that just died with his indecision. Sharks need to just do the basics and get it right, then they try all the fancy stuff. Right now they are just all over the place and as a result they do not even look good on the basics. The worst thing is the scalpers who buy up a bunch of tickets and then resell, on reselling sites the tickets are already selling at 5 times the price. I saw tickets behind the post that originally cost R550 now going for R2300. The viagogo site has 500 tickets for resell already at ridiculous prices.
