Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread
Tuchel looks like he might be lined up for the Man United job. Imagine the amount of abuse he's going to unload on the current bunch of wasters. Hope they bring back Sancho just for the inevitable blowup  Honestly I think even managers like Guardiola will not win anything at Man Utd at the mom...

Re: URCR14 Bulls vs Munster
Red card cost the bulls dearly. Very frustrating. Good game otherwise. The mental thing is that it isn't the occasional head clash that is causing long term injuries. It's the continuous knocks in tackles and at rucks etc. Just that the head clash is so evident. They really have to sort out how to ...

The Munster players seem to learn a lot from their football compatriots, continue to shout at the ref and question every decision even during active play.

Re: URCR14 Bulls vs Munster
Munster playing well, should be going for the win from here They are. Old dogs, showing the Bull's loosies up a bit. Barely seen Hanekom. Hanekom needs to play the 8 role and louw the flanker, they are both better that way in my opinion. But the Bulls biggest problem now is the amount of unforced e...

Re: URCR14 Bulls vs Munster
Bulls not being accurate and giving Munster attacking positions for both tries. Knocking on in front if your try line is criminal, specially with no pressure. Bulls need to wake up at HT. All good and well you want to run the ball from everywhere but then you need to catch the ball

Re: URCR14 Lions vs Leinster
The nice thing about the URC now is that if you play weakened teams you are quite likely going to lose. Very few teams that you can safely play weakened teams against. Leinster could theoretically be in 3rd place i think by the time their SA tour is over if Bulls and Glasgow keeps winning and they l...

Re: URCR14 Bulls vs Munster
Looking forward to be at the game tomorrow. Seems like they might have about 15k-20k in the stadium if I look at the ticket site. Makings of a good game looking at the two team sheets.
To bad the Lions - Leinster game is right before the Bulls game, otherwise I would have gone to watch that game too.

Re: 2023/2024 European Champions Cup
I think the biggest issue right now is the flight schedules. The SA teams are currently spending up to 24 hours flying to Europe that should be a 10 hour flight. Basically they are spending the same amount of time on flights right now as they did in Super Rugby, minus the time difference. If SA rugb...

There was huge wind, otherwise I feel he would have nailed it. Yeah, very difficult kick from that side for him in the wind. Would have been much easier from the other side. Hard Luck stormers. I do think the ref allowed LAR to get away with a bit, specially with the LAR players resting their legs/bodies on players when stealing the ball. At one stage in the 2nd half you could hear a stormers player telling the ref that LAR use are not keeping on their feet but resting ...

The worst thing is the scalpers who buy up a bunch of tickets and then resell, on reselling sites the tickets are already selling at 5 times the price. I saw tickets behind the post that originally cost R550 now going for R2300. The viagogo site has 500 tickets for resell already at ridiculous prices.
