Like this analysis. The temptation is to think we're being stuffed a little but there's obviously more to it that that.

Without jumping the shark- i think we've got the depth to field a good side in argentina. Yeah, but I'd rather it be a mix of experience and guys with a genuine chance at taking the jersey. If we're missing too many it will be good players, but not people who're going to see the shirt again. Worst ...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

I guess we'll just have to wait and see about Lions selections, personally I think there's going to be a set plan on how Gatland wants to play the game, and he'll probably select accordingly. guys like Hask and Faz may tour but IMO it would be a shock if they both started at 7 and 12 respectively. ...

JTB made a very good point, but given DDs question was about tourists rather than starting 15, it's kinda moot. Would Gatland select many players to tour if they don't have a shot of starting? You get the odd Matt Stevens type selection but generally those warm-up games are genuine auditions for th...

You can't win a game like this with a front-row that bad. Gattie needs to bring the changes. Apart from a unfit Lee who do they have? Even putting Lee on this early is risking it. Using the dark arts is their only option. Well James is a better scrummager than Melon and was injured last week. James...

Those are pretty ordinary selections. A brand new centre combo at this stage of the competition before a vital match. Burgess/Barritt can be our new Tindall/Noon pairing which was so effective under Robinson et al.
