I have private health care for my wife and I they will need to compensate me for, does anyone have any idea what that is potentially worth in terms of a payment - I have no idea, neither does the internet.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a search engine where you could instantly identify info like this on the internet without asking people on a message board? https://www.gov.uk/redundant-your-rights/notice-periods I was asking because we come under the 18 person law and thought the rules may be dif...

They have been very poor, this is mainly due to the client not know what they need for the re-org, but, they are stiffing us a bit with the "under 20 rules" 2 more people on the contract and they've have to give 3 months "consultancy"

Feel for you bro. We thought we had a hard time with the first one who never really slept well until she started going to school last September and then was fine. Daughter number 2 is 8 months old and is making the first daughter look like she was sleeping beauty. Bloody awful. It does get better. ...

The wee man has asthma, he normally has about 3 non-attack nights a week, Saturday and Sunday weren't non-attack nights. We've had sleep coaches etc, etc but it's hard to sleep when you're shitting yourself. That is really tough, sorry to hear that. You might try one of those h.e.p.a vacuam cleaners...

Re: Redundancy Advice
The reason for the redundancy plays a part. If its a re-org but there are funds there then yes you should argue for the full notice period. If its a liquidation/belly up with no funds then you might have to take what you get. It's a re-org. Why should I have to argue for anything, surely it's a leg...

Redundancy Advice
Simply put, I work for a small company of less than 20 people*. According to the Regs we only have to be given 30 days notice of redundancy, however, does this mean we'd still be entitled to our contracted 3 month notice period? Thanks The YouGov website doesn't mention it. *It's a large company but...

When you get to work, late, and you find that not only is your son's breakfast still sitting half eaten on the roof rack but you haven't ironed the front of your shirt.
