Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Either way young Wycherley is going to get a lot of minutes in the next few week. He looked fine scrummaging on Monday. And can certainly carry based on his u20s performances.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

If leavy could recover to be a brutal hard hitting 6 he’d dovetail well with someone like deegan at 8

I think connors is more likely to play for Ireland tho.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

great to see Coombes given a chance at 8.. why was Arno Botha was playing ahead of him last season? same with Hodnett, bar injury/rest there should be no situation where Cloete or TOD are playing ahead of him. No arguments there. Also a jod Hodnett Coombes Back row is well balanced. Coombes has had...

We’ve produced a few undersized forwards of late. Great to see a beast like Coombes.

Salanoa and Wycherley got a good few scrums there at the end n looked ok.

Need these 50/50s to progress the squad, we've years of backlog to clear.

That’s the biggest think. Even if these lads aren’t 100% the best way to get them there is exposure

Relying on memory here but Ryan left central contract and Munster didn’t have enough cash to spare? Irfu eventually saddled up a reasonable offer in the end but by that time racing had made an offer.
