Re: SBW - "No contest. I'll be an All Black by Christmas"
A month or so prior to the last RWC, my Sister-in-Law, a former senior nurse at Wellington Hospital's Paediatric oncology ward, came across a burly looking lad with dreadlocks wandering around totally lost trying to find his mum who had an appointment at the Ophthalmology department. A rather shy te...

I'd guess that quite a few of them do. I understand what you mean by not being appropriate a lot of the time, but personally I prefer the taste of beers with a higher booze content than 5%. Just took a quick look at Calderas site, their Lawnmower Lager is 3.9% http://res.cloudinary.com/ratebeer/imag...

Re: Favorite beers (for when the rugby is on) - Official thr
Cans usually aren't the first things I'd reach for when wanting a decent beer, but with the weather rapidly getting hotter and the usual bbq's, beach visits, camping trips etc... coming up, cans are pretty versatile. Some decent canned beers I've been getting into recently are: Caldera IPA, so damn ...

The Ken Gray Memorial Trophy,St.Pats Stream vs. Well.Col
The two true heavyweights of Wellington Secondary schools Rugby, St. Patricks Silverstream and Wellington College, (sorry Town, Scots, Rongotai, Aotea, St.Bernards et al), play their 83rd traditional match today for the The Ken Gray Memorial Trophy. Stream looking pretty sharp this year and will be ...

The scrum got worse when Faumuina came on. I had a kids party on around me while trying to watch it so missed a lot,,,,but I thought the scrum improved quite a bit when replacements were made ? Thought it was Faumaunia ?? Could be wrong though. Barretts hands let him down, but he looked lively. Some...

Re: Hard luck England fans, top effort tonight
Thanks for your feedback Ali I fear the return of savea and read but it was a good game We really missed both players tonight. Jane is nowhere near the destructive ball runner that Savea is, particularly in heavy traffic. And Read consistently makes attacking plays happen by creating mismatches out...

I think ROG is being unfairly overlooked here... wilko and carter way way better tacklers than ROG sorry. The way SBW played against Ireland in his last tests was near unstoppable. If he'd stayed and just kept going like that he would never have been on the bench. I think Steady Eddie would've looked near unstoppable in that last test against Ireland. They'd blown their load in the narrow loss the week...

Is this about defending Japan? They are not only the main consumer but also have the biggest catch. Not really surprising as conservation is a foreign concept to them . In the case of "infer" and "imply," most usage treats them as complementary. This is a positive feature of the language, so I endorse it, use the words in that way, and encourage others to do so as well. They are complementary, but they are certainly not synonymous. Anyone who uses 'infer' when the...
