Re: Grand Slam tour: Scotland vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Saturday 8th Nov

Smith is by far the best halfback ever in black. Not even close.

Cam could very well challenge that, but he’s got to win a few world cups first!

A bad take ? What are you smoking . It’s every bit as valid as the former opinion . I understand everyone has an opinion but Goldie is a clown these days. Since when did patience win games? Taking your opportunities when they present itself does. Isn't that the same thing? Patience in itself doesn’...

Nonsense . I agree with both of them . Scotland lost their bottle , changed what they were doing ( which was winning ) and on occasion rushed things out of a desperation that was unnecessary. Rubbish. That’s attributed to our stellar scramble on the defensive end, lesser teams would have folded.

I think we have the talent. But experience in key areas we are lacking. I do like some of the attacking shapes we are starting to create, but think we need to fine tune our line line out defence and high ball returns

Re: Grand Slam tour: Scotland vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Saturday 8th Nov

Jeff Wilson and Mils Muliaina are suggesting that Scotland's lack of patience cost them the game and their chance of making history. There were times that Scotland shelled the ball when they were hot on attack that let the ABs off the hook. That’s a bad take. What actually cost them were basic unfo...

Re: Grand Slam tour: Scotland vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Saturday 8th Nov

This was Scotland's moment. This is the best side they've had in years. They pressed NZ hard enough to earn 3 yellow cards. And they couldn't capitalise on it. Scotland also crossed the line a few times, but couldn't finish it off. They'll get a win over the ABs one day. Nah. That what their moment...

Try saving tackle from Roigard was pretty important too.

I think if Scotland want to compete they need to kick skyscraper type bombs all game. We seem to lack in this department. They simply don’t have what it takes to run us off our feet the entire 80mins because we can play running rugby too and score off it.

One thing that impresses me about Wemby is how eloquent, smart and mature he is. That bodes well for his longevity in the sport. A lot of the international players in the NBA appear to be like that. How's this for an International side to play the US during an All Star weekend? (instead of the East...

I don’t care how many games he’s played for us but we need to blood in a new first five that compliments Roigards game. Because Beauden ain’t it. His best rugby is already behind him, he seems to have lost a lot of his youthful pace and his kicking is too erratic. In fact having no Barrett’s in the ...

On the positive side I thought it was good that we were able to get the ball to our wings a few times, and get past the Irish rush defence that has caused us a lot of trouble.
