Sad story. If 4 people jumped out of a car like they're the A-Team, I probably would have bolted too.

Re: HURRICANES V REBELS SUPER RUGBY Rd 5 MATCH THREAD
I've always been a supporter of playing local players during home games in their province, as they tend to bring their A-game in those games. It also helps strengthen the regional identity of the Hurricanes. I don't know the players well enough (yet) to evaluate how good they are compared to other p...

Re: NZ Women’s Rugby Catchall Thread
The BF contracted players are on much bigger money - anywhere from $70k to $130k per year. These guys are essentially full-timers but some still had jobs. I remember Joanah Ngan-Woo still worked at MFAT (NZ’s ministry of foreign affairs). Then you’ve got the Ruby Tui category who is well north of $...

. It seems we're moving away from what's best for NZ and more into American style politics where it's us and them. I think we’re already there…….. Re: Crusaders vs Hurricanes Match Thread
Good win by the Hurricanes. Beating the Crusaders in Christchurch is always difficult, even more so when the home team gets awarded a phantom lineout penalty, and there are too many Hawkes Bay players in the Hurricanes side.

Maybe I'm taking his comments out of context, but I can't recall coming across an international level athlete in any sport, who displayed such a limp d!ck attitude to winning. I wonder how Boult would have coped even if he was picked. He’s been living off a T20 only diet for so long would he have been up to test bowling loads? Remember the old days when you only had 2 reserves who usually consisted of a hooker and halfback, and all players were expected to play 80 minutes? Nobody got concussion then either, you just drunk wet cement and hardened up.
