There was a fair bit of hype around in anticipation, but the reality is almost as good. Hopefully he continues in that vein, which I don't see why he shouldn't. Let's see how he goes against the man mountain Springbok forward pack. I expect him to receive a 'welcome to test rugby' smash or two. I e...

To echo the sentiment of others on this thread, I like the AB side and the opportunity Razor has given some players to build depth. However, I don't like having two undersized loosies on the bench and no locks.

 I love that Holland is getting another opportunity to really sink his teeth into it and play another 80. IMO he's now a first choice All Black lock. I didn't expect him to look so comfortable so quickly. There was a fair bit of hype around in anticipation, but the reality is almost as goo...

I just the highlights of the NZ v France U20 game. Geez, there is some skillful players on both sides, in both the forwards and the backs. NZ will have to stiffen up their defence a bit in the final, particularly when it comes to the short ball. The Baby Boks will exploit that otherwise.

Agree. Reckon he’s pretty good. Is Gordon Bray still commentating? I liked his commentating too. Used to love Bray but surely he's getting on a bit. I don't mind TJ as a play by play caller, if he has time to whinge like when he was a sideline man, that's when he sounds a bit shite. It's all subjec...

Does Ah Kuoi come into the squad with Vai'i hurt? What is the current status of Sam Darry/Josh Lord does anyone know? They should be the next two up IMO, not that I have an issue with Ah Kuoi either. It was for opposition mistakes etc Depends on the context and what happened in the lead up, but I agree with you in principal. Whooping and hollering for minor opposition errors is best left to Ben Earl and Maro Itoje. Chahooing is not a stereotypical kiwi thing? It used to be commonly heard after ...

Naitoa Ah Kuoi could make a start this week . Vaa'i has failed his HIA, Barrett is still out and Patty has hurt his knee and is apparently only 50/50 whether he'll make it. Short on locks. Jordan still has his niggly knee injury so with the series in the bag may be rested giving Love a shot. He des...

Worst kiwi performance tonight has been Grant Nisbett. How a commentator can confuse Ardie Savea with Timoci Tavatavanawai is baffling. Nisbot has a history of confusing dark coloured players sadly . And if we're going to be talking about potential RWC squads in two years time, we've got to talk about who the ABs' second half-back is. At the moment, there's daylight between Roigard and the next best halfback.

Tbf we said the same last year about our 6 issues being over once Sititi emerged. Our backrow looks much more balanced with Vaa'i at 6, Sititi at 8 and Savea at 7. Yep, that combination has emerged as our best set of loose forwards. And the irony is that they haven't played a single game together i...

Big Patrick had a good game. Holland also very good. Ardie played very well, as did Va'ai. The pack will be very good when Williams and Lomax come back. Williams, Lomax and Sititi are arguably three starters in the ABs pack, who have yet to make an appearance this season. This AB pack has the poten...
