Re: Trans-Tasman comp to replace Super Rugby in 2021

Has there been any official news on what is happening? I know Sept 4th was when NZR had to agree to RA demands or whatever so they could go to TV with their packages etc. All I have seen is a report (supposedly exclusive etc) last week that there was a 12 team TT and next year would be to comps of 6...

Have those Aus TV billions started rolling in yet? Some of the teams in Australia are owned by a billionaire. So it wouldn't matter what the economic climate is they are sustainable, unlike any of the NZL teams. I wonder what next year's SuperRugbyAOT is going to do for the sustainability of rugby ...

And McLaren's former mechanic still has the hold the record for cars 1300cc at Monaco. In those days a lot of the mechanics raced in the support races, and his ex mechanic owned and run the garage I used to go to. He still owns a mini that McLaren used to race, and is a bit of a Mini expert.

Warren Gatland may have been the best coach in 'easy rugby' . But he's just coached the Chiefs to a winless season in Super Rugby Aotearoa. They were genuinely pathetic, and an embarrasment to their fans and region. Robertson's team just happened to win that comp. Warran Gatland will be learning fr...

Unfortunately even if Robertson does go on the Lions tour and enjoy great success there is no guarantee he will be the next All Blacks coach. How the hell did Tahuriorangi get into the North team when he couldn't even make the bench for the last-placed Chiefs? Maybe why the Chiefs were last placed, Gatlands selections, though I would have Booth and Hall ahead of him. Weber had most of the game time at 9. Surely you cannot be quibbling ab...

Newcastle is supported by a strong club comp, different to playing a team from Burnie. I watched Darwin GF on weekend and regularly watch SA premiership on NITV, these guys can be as physical as any club but it comes down to pace of game, fitness and size. They can’t measure themselves with Force o...

Over the comp ,have to be Jordie at 15, Reiko Ioane at 13, and Smith at 9 I think. And I think 7 could be tossed up between 3 or 4 players, Papali'i, Hunt and Christie have all played a good number of top games.
