Re: What do Financial Advisers actually do?
There was an article in the Auckland herald recently about a young couple who had developed an algorithm, were demonstrating its use, and offering the public in NZ free use. In the demonstration, it identified eight stocks that were rising, and suggested that four were invested in for a given perio...

Re: What do Financial Advisers actually do?
In my experience you go to financial planner to put a plan in place...i.e. how to save, mortgages, debt, etc...good idea if you get a windfall of money. I wouldn't go to a financial planner for stock picks. Either learn to do it yourself...or subscribe to a securities analyst firm or letter...or tru...

Its a crappy profession. Financial advisers are like opinions. If you find a good financial adviser they are like gold. My advice....be wary of any financial adviser under the age of about 50...otherwise they are likely just talking from theory and a script. Experience and track record are vital. I ...

Why rely on random genetics when having a child?? Let it happen. Psychologists have long learnt that having an IQ over130 does not financially benefit the person any further than having an IQ of 130. I guess if you don't actually win the title you've got to move on eventually. He's had 7 full seasons? 2009 - 2015.
Be interesting if the Crusaders win it next year.
Be even more interesting to see who takes the reins from 2017.

The All Blacks went up a gear in 1987 through to 1990 in no small part by Jim Blair,s fitness regime that revolutionised All Blacks rugby and rugby itself. In terms of fitness the 1987 team was light years ahead of the 1986 sides. One other point though...the 87' All Blacks also introduced (as such)...
