Re: Fozzie: The axe falls.
Shame on everyone who thought that Ian Foster would never land a head coaching role again and said his ascension to the AB coaching role was nepotism and jobs for the boys at its worst. The man’s credentials speak for him and on his and his merit alone, he has landed the head coaching role at Toyota...

Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread
I’m wanting it to be Liverpool and if not them, Arsenal … so the results were pretty disappointing to wake up to this morning.
I hope city don’t walk away with this but expect they will.

Someone better grab them or we’ll be hearing “you can’t even give Crusader tickets away these days” soon enough.

It’s crazy. Presumably sides will start announcing that injured All Blacks are available a couple of weeks earlier than reality but are being rested.

My wife is from Wigan so we get over that way every couple of years. I won’t have the same quality of advice as the locals but if you are heading to Wrexham there’s the Blue Planet aquarium nearby (just out of Chester from memory) which our kids enjoyed at a similar age … it breaks the trip to Wrexh...

Auckland is probably a better option anyway - easier for a crowd to watch (more vantage points) I would have thought and without an endangered species present. I get the frustration but presumably the restrictions were known to Sail GP and Coutts when they signed up for the location. Unless an unexp...

English cricket’s toxic culture
In a shocking development it has been revealed that the ECB has been exposing England’s cricketing youth to toxic material. Hulk-like batsmen could light up the T20 circuit and Spider-Manesque quick bowlers slinging it down would be impressive, but is this taking things too far? https://www.stuff.co...

Maybe we have gone full circle back to 1996.
The wooden spoon could be on the cards this year, a solid mid-table the season after and then a glorious three-peat from 2027-2029.
Rob Penney took on a huge ask following Razor and with all the departures, but the injuries/illness on top are killers.

Kate has admitted to editing the image. Two scenarios then. Either, the photo is essentially as it originally was but she had a go at editing it to fix a few things she wasn't entirely happy with, and the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. Or, they are all wearing human looking skin suit...

I wonder how Boult would have coped even if he was picked. He’s been living off a T20 only diet for so long would he have been up to test bowling loads? The idea about property owners getting special treatment wasn’t helped when Grant Robertson started talking about “closing a loophole” when interest deductibility was removed. That messaging could have been picked into a lot more but was often taken at face value.

NZ and Australia play so infrequently everyone’s stats will be stacked by a couple of efforts. The split of matches across nations is really interesting in its lack of balance.
