McCann surely at 8. When will ulster back their own? You mean like McCann? Hardly backing him at the moment and if he isn't given every chance to be starting 8 next season.. He absolutely tore it up in that A game and now you're looking for a angle that Ulster don't know what to do with him. ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
So pack for next season: McGrath, Herring, Moore, Hendy, Nakarawa, Rea, Murphy, Timoney? Still a bit lightweight in the back row unless you put Nakarawa at 6. Or else we've got someone else lined up, but I doubt that's the case McCann surely at 8. When will ulster back their own? You mean like McCa...

Re: Leinster v Ulster
Oh. Man up and grow a pair you old misogynist slapper ;) Actually the more i think about the game the more unhappy i am with the scoreline. We should be putting 40 on teams like Ulster at home. We're getting soft Of course you're soft, it's your DNA. It will be interesting to see if the Ladyboys se...

Re: Leinster v Ulster
Oh we're dreadful winners. When we lose though we blame our team and not the officials. I said you won't win a European cup. I believe that. You may win a Pro 14 though. It doesn't take Nostradamus to know that this Ulster team will not win a European cup. We're not at the level required either thi...

Re: Leinster v Ulster
We kicked the leather off the ball in the second half cause we couldn't get out of our half any other way. Underpowered pack unable to suck in defenders, so the backline moves were ineffective.

Re: Leinster v Ulster
Positives were the two young lads in the backthree and I thought Murphy and Jones did well in the first half. Until Cronin went off we weren't in the 2nd half though. Centres were quiet and marcell has had three poor halves of rugby which is a mini crisis. Faddes shouldn't be involved. Cut him loos...

Re: Leinster v Ulster
I thought the ref and TMO were all fine, except for 2 instances: 1. The swinging arm rubbish. 2. The penalty against Coetzee that ultimately led to the Leinster TBP was nonsense. Personally, I'd have reversed the penalty when he had to tell Sexton yet again to shut his mouth, but that's probably jus...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Regarding Cooney, - he's probably never been on great money anyway. When he left Leinster he was behind Reddan and Boss, and had McGrath coming up behind. He never wrested starting SH for Connacht, Marmion had that, and there was Blade coming up behind. So whilst the move to Ulster was smart, it pr...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
 But there is no impact on European qualification though is there? Nope, no impact there. But if you want to have a chance of winning the Pro14 then you have to finish top of your pool. Since Ulster and Leinster are practically guaranteed to be 1st and 2nd, the game in the RDS is of huge s...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Munster at home will be an Ulster win. I'd be more worried the opposition a week later We will be sending the Bs down We can't send the Bs down. With the way we've changed the Pro14 this season the game at the RDS is a must win for Ulster (and Leinster). The game against Munster is actually a lot l...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Might me more in the Ben Healy to Glasgow rumour than just agent talk as Adam Hastings has signed for Gloucester. They are a shadow of what they were, not good for the Pro 14. The Scots are really falling off a cliff. Hastings, Van der Merwe, Visser, Maitland, Laidlaw, Russell, Gray, Hogg all of th...

Is there a bigger wanker in Ireland than Paddy Cosgrave?
I see he's now creating little videos on twitter and Facebook whinging about how his leak story didn't go anywhere.
Guy would suck his own dick if it were possible.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I think we need to accept that the post Sexton world is going to be bleak. We haven't anyone close. Burns is twice the player of Byrne but still not within an arses roar of Sexton. Healy is on his last legs. Herring is a stop gap at best. Kelleher looks good. Furlong / Porter, we're grand as long as...

Just how little does Farrell rate John Ryan?
O'Sullivan should have been in the initial squad selection so he could be involved in games like this, save us having to use Healy.

The league has been shit for years, this year is just a continuation of a downward trend.
Leinster and Ulster would probably qualify for knockouts before Christmas if there wasn't Euro weekends in there.
