Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Just how little does Farrell rate John Ryan?

O'Sullivan should have been in the initial squad selection so he could be involved in games like this, save us having to use Healy.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

The league has been shit for years, this year is just a continuation of a downward trend.

Leinster and Ulster would probably qualify for knockouts before Christmas if there wasn't Euro weekends in there.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

I'm sure it has been done to death but can anybody tell me why you pick two lumps with bad hands in the centre and then play deep? Like I could see the logic in his selection and then the tactics were bananas Bang on the money Mullet. 10, 12, 13 was properly rubbish. Thought Keenan had a good game ...

Stats don't make good reading at all for Ulster's attack or defence. Ulster had approximately 60% possession and 60% territory in the first half, 50% in the second. The had more passes, more carries, for fewer metres, conceded more line breaks etc. And despite every other stat being similar (ruck c...

Kings of Leon, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

I've been impressed with Stockdale's carrying in traffic. Looking robust and using decent footwork. Not making outside breaks, but he's definitely contributing. Would want to sharpen up on those tackles though. Personally I don’t want my winger (or full back) to constantly be running in to traffic ...

Form in the pro14 has always been of little to no consequence for getting picked for Ireland.
