Re: Coronavirus Thread. Virus v humans

The virus can't be controlled, it's airborne. It's going to pass through all countries, unless they lockdown forever. Meanwhile lockdown destroys everything in its path, economies, lives, soul and spirit. It's a ruinous totalitarian Chinese solution that we were stupid enough to copy.

It struck me that World Rugby cancelling the awards for Covid probably cost Eddie Jones another World Rugby coach of the year award and possibly Mario Itoje his for his first World Rugby player of the year award.

They're not really going to cancel the whole 6N because the Frogs are trying to dodge their most likely losses, are they? Yes, yes they are. The team that beat England and Ireland last year would rather avoid the risk of defeat and are simply hiding behind the fact there is a global pandemic and th...

Not to excuse the abusive plum, but what are referees doing on twitter? How is it ever going to end well?

Edit: also TheFlier, you've had a shocker there, if you hound the top refs out of the game you'll be left with even worse ones

Am I missing something or could this draw really have ended up with Wales-France-Italy in one group with England-Scotland-Ireland in another? If so, we lucked out that all the 6N sides didn't end up in two groups with the 4 RC sides in the other two.

Los Angeles: awful place. Felt uncomfortable everywhere; unreal over privileged in the wealthy bits, frankly scared elsewhere. Daly ran Watson out of space for one try opportunity, then passed it too early for another. Both situations needed to tie in the last man before offloading. Stuff Daly usually good at.
