I once played for a team that had a 10 who couldn't run and a fullback who couldn't kick. They were incredible at switching positions needed. The fullback ended up playing 6 nations for a few years. Maybe the Wallabies could do the same but it would take 2 very intelligent players.

I think jtah's point is that the Warriors and SOO are loved, not the NRL in general, the viewership for it is poor and only spiked by the hype train in years like last year solely focused on the Warriors.
