Re: Paul Gallen Vs Sonny Bill Williams
One of those fights an argument could be made for either bloke to win. A draw was probably the fair result. Gallen's face will look worse than SBWs tomorrow.

Entertaining fight. It's incredible SBW hasn't managed to develop a stiff jab after all these years.

Jonah Lomu Aw man we were on the same page re Sonny Bill Boofhead. But wash your mouth out with soap and water. Jonah was a true great of the game who transcended the sport. Don't even mention Jonah in the same breath as SBWilliams. Everyone goes on about Dan Carter vs the Lions, second test, 2005....

Turned the game. Ffs. We were leading 16-3 at halftime and that try made it 21-3. We were in control of the match up to that point. From there the chokefest was on as the Aussies closed the gap to 21-17 with Ben Smith's yellow card. It was Dan Carter that secured the game with a late penalty and dr...

Rieko was solid/very good. Made some great defensive reads.
Agree with Ogre. The DJ was fkn ridiculous. I just want to watch and dicuss the game without being bombarded with music.

Re: The NRL catch-all thread
I knew when Munster's dad had passed away and that he was still playing that they'd win. 20-0 at half time. Possibly the most perfect game of rugby I've ever seen a team play. Their first knock on was in the 72nd minute or something. Hammer looks to have nailed down the QLD fullback spot for the ne...

It certainly looked poor when Mckenzie, Proctor and Ioane were involved. BB isn't my first choice #10 but I'm struggling to see the rationale for Razor dropping him.

Gee, those disallowed tries (all correctly called) kept it way closer than it could have been. Just not accurate enough. I hope the rust has been thoroughly rubbed out All I would say is if you are going to ref 'obstruction' like that, it had better be reffed that way in every play. Bullshit. This....

Beauden is the same with rush defence, it is hard to play when defence is right in your face. Chiefs failed to do that with Reihana. Indeed, as is Mo'unga. It's a shame we only seem to have a certain type of 1st 5, slight and speedy. I'd love to see how we'd go with a Butch James, Handre Pollard or...

Re: All Blacks 2025
Yes their forwards have been dominant. And yet none of them would be playing for the Springboks if the SARU had the same amateur-era eligibility rules as NZR. Almost every forward in the Springboks squad is based offshore. Perhaps we should be considering doing what they are doing? Perhaps we shoul...

Rewatching the magnificent Crusaders final win, and noticed how much pressure the Crusaders put on Dmac, and how many mistakes he made... knock-on's, slicing into touch, missed kicks... French just need to apply the same pressure and Dmax will wilt. Same thing the Blues did, and any number of other...

We have Narawa, Rieko and Carter. I would consider all of them better. Clarke hasn't scored all season and Reece shouldn't be an AB. Neither should Clarke. He clearly struggles to make good choices when under pressure. At least he's fast. What was it? 129kmph in a 50km zone? something like that

I've been critical of Blackadders selection in the past but he's in career best form imo. His contribution to the Crusaders has been exceptional over the last 5 to 6 weeks. Without him I don't believe the Crusaders win that title. His non selection seems inconsistent and random. Ikr? The only thing...

Gutted for the Pacers. Those 3 turnovers in a row from McConnell in the 3rd quarter killed them. Terrible luck losing Haliburton like that but that's the breaks. Well deserved championship for the Thunder and particularly for the real MVP, Sam Presti

I disagree that NZR's outdated eligibility rules are not weakening the AB's. And there is clear evidence of our traditional rivals, the Springboks, becoming stronger and more successful by making a similar change. Neither team have won it before, but of the two the Thunder have a claim on a previous title (as the Sonics won one). If we're giving OKC credence for the Supersonics title surely we gotta give it to the Pacers for their ABA titles. I'm cheering on Pacers. Gotta back the underdog. Do OKC & the Pace...
