Re: Paul Gallen Vs Sonny Bill Williams

One of those fights an argument could be made for either bloke to win. A draw was probably the fair result. Gallen's face will look worse than SBWs tomorrow.

Jonah Lomu Aw man we were on the same page re Sonny Bill Boofhead. But wash your mouth out with soap and water. Jonah was a true great of the game who transcended the sport. Don't even mention Jonah in the same breath as SBWilliams. Everyone goes on about Dan Carter vs the Lions, second test, 2005....

Turned the game. Ffs. We were leading 16-3 at halftime and that try made it 21-3. We were in control of the match up to that point. From there the chokefest was on as the Aussies closed the gap to 21-17 with Ben Smith's yellow card. It was Dan Carter that secured the game with a late penalty and dr...

Re: The NRL catch-all thread

I knew when Munster's dad had passed away and that he was still playing that they'd win. 20-0 at half time. Possibly the most perfect game of rugby I've ever seen a team play. Their first knock on was in the 72nd minute or something. Hammer looks to have nailed down the QLD fullback spot for the ne...

Why would he? He was ok.
Back line was poor as was the support play.
It certainly looked poor when Mckenzie, Proctor and Ioane were involved. BB isn't my first choice #10 but I'm struggling to see the rationale for Razor dropping him.

Gee, those disallowed tries (all correctly called) kept it way closer than it could have been. Just not accurate enough. I hope the rust has been thoroughly rubbed out All I would say is if you are going to ref 'obstruction' like that, it had better be reffed that way in every play. Bullshit. This....

Beauden is the same with rush defence, it is hard to play when defence is right in your face. Chiefs failed to do that with Reihana. Indeed, as is Mo'unga. It's a shame we only seem to have a certain type of 1st 5, slight and speedy. I'd love to see how we'd go with a Butch James, Handre Pollard or...

We have Narawa, Rieko and Carter. I would consider all of them better. Clarke hasn't scored all season and Reece shouldn't be an AB. Neither should Clarke.
