Re: Ospreys going...going...soon to be gone?

Would the be replaced or what? The prevailing long term argument is a 2+1 model with teams in Cardiff and Llanelli, with north Wales being the development region. We'll see but it sounds liek we won't be 4 teams for more than 1 or 2 seasons more at best. And a fantastic stadium rotting away in Swan...

Nz put 13 in the line with Smith sweeping which is why they are deadly on the counter. Ireland put 14 in the line with just the 15 covering. England have an excellent kicking game if the opposition put too many in the line. Wales will drop back their wings to counter Farrells kicks and force England to run it. This will be close. I’ve never heard of French Toast for dessert. It’s a breakfast item. And the crazy toppings (or liquid eggs x( ) would be something you get at IHOP. When people make it at home it’s bread, eggs and milk, cinnamon, butter and syrup. I didn't mean all at the same time. Egg with milk or cream. T...

Apparently it's called "Eggy Bread" in some parts of the UK. To my mind 'eggy bread' is much, um, eggier, always savoury and a breakfast thing. French toast is often sweeter with less egg, sometimes diluted with cream, and sprinkled with fruit, nutmeg, cinnamon, syrup, sugar etc and sometimes a des...

Re: 6N Rd. 2 - Scotland v Ireland. Sat, Feb 9th. KO @ 14:15

Clearly players can pick the ball out of the ruck if they're onside and not part of it. It's the onside part that might be the issue here but it's a bit much to include players on the ground as counting for the offside line. But also, there clearly was no defined ruck anymore although there hasn't ...

That is two people who have quoted Law 16 in relation to the ruck. On the World Rugby website law 16 is the maul, law 15 is the ruck. https://laws.worldrugby.org/?law=showallbynumbers. So what are you looking at? The law book had a complete rewrite last year. The ruck used to be 16 and is now 15. A...

Had a 9 been in place or a Scot been attempting a clear-out a ruck would have still been in progress. Normally that ball would be considered out, and, as a defender, you'd be expecting to be able to pick-up that ball without sanction. It was a harsh call on Aki.

It’s really hard to gauge the significance of a coaches strengths and weaknesses amongst different unions. Gatland only had 5 more wins than Hansen over the same number of tests (31). Some consistency would be nice. The triple roll & salchow when tackled in normal play is not penalised, but this is. Both should be. The more incongruous part is that in normal play the tackler will/has to immediately release the tackled player, for fear of being penalised, so he can place the ball...
