Its' crazy that its actually feasible that this might all coming down to the bloody weather in London yesterday. If remain lose the story will be the weather and rail companies. If leave lose it will be Jo Cox and registration extensions. Either way, it will be about chance and/or trivia completely...

White Essex people are predominantly the children and grandchildren of people who ran screaming from London as soon as the first Caribbeans arrived in the 50s. I have heard it described as the 'white flight' by these people.

So I am not surprised in the slightest by the results.

The reason there is no exit poll for this referendum is because there's no way to compare samples like a at a general election. For example, how did people in say Bethnal Green, Henley, Glasgow and Nuneaton vote last time? What's the change in vote from the parties? Various other statistics involved...
