Re: Rugby NAMA thread Revisited Rugby

Why do we need a three month plan ? - we'll know in 10 days (and the evidence to date is that it whilst the omicron variant is more contagious, it is less damaging). This wasn't even about Omicron. This was delta they were talking about Jesus - delta's over in Ireland, just let it run its course. N...

Re: Rugby NAMA thread Revisited Rugby

And all the leaks from the “private” NPHET meeting today - you may as well have let the journalists into the meeting De Gascun was on the radio yesterday morning saying a three month plan was needed. Seemingly the "three month plan" was mentioned again this morning. God only knows what this three m...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Is anybody else "glad" Leinster lost? Ulster played well and beat Leinster. Leinster looked poor at the breakdown and showed a dire lack of imagination when they had the ball. It can't hurt to have complacency nipped in the bud after getting properly embarrassed at home. Lack of support runners and...

Just goes to show how an emotional performance can be all it takes to win the collisions.

That needs to be a warning to the national team before 6 Nations starts. We don't want Wales doing that to us 1st game

Tactics were crap as well.

Ulster had everyone in the line. We were losing the gainline so the game required better kicking in behind.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Ulster's defence was excellent. I guess you have to work out if that was the reason why Leinster looked off the boil or should Leinster have been able to deal with it better? Mike Lowry was playing 15 and dropped his first bomb. Why on earth did Leinster not boot the leather off the ball all night?...

Every mistake we made was punished.

Such a flat, poor performance.

Ruddock was surprisingly flat. Back row outplayed.

Only Moloney and Frawley were good throughout. Penny good in patches.
