Re: The *Official* 2023 Ashes Thread
Bazball with the bat, worked perfectly. Scored fast, scoreboard pressure was applied. The problem is, bazball is predicated on taking 20 wickets every game. If you can’t take wickets in this style you are guaranteed to lose. No easy fix either because our only real threat was broad. It was him or b...

Re: The *Official* 2023 Ashes Thread
Apparently it’s all just about ‘entertainment’. Does Mr laid back McCullum actually give a fudge? We’ll get steammrolled now. But hey, at least we’ll score quicker than the Aussies.

Re: The *Official* 2023 Ashes Thread
Prick Stokes just hands the game to Australia. Well done. Declaring at 393! The lack of pace in our bowling is worrying. Where was the Yorker towards the end?

Same old. Just how much lower can we go. Remember’fortress’ Twickenham? These lot are the biggest bunch of losers ever to wear an England shirt. Borthwick/Sinfield can just fudge off now. Not 8n the same league as Gatland/Edwards

Please, anyone. Now. Just get rid. How much longer can this gone on. Constantly under performing. Only thing t...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
Yeah, Hill is another. I'm not remotely convinced he has the mentality for Test match rugger. Looks scared of his own shadow. Ewels, on the other hand, ran an excellent line-out today. Hill can’t even be bothered to sing the national anthem. He’s not in the same league as Launchbury, Kruis or Lawes...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
So apart from Eddie, who are the serial offenders and who do people want gone? Or do you want to blow it all up? I’ve been a big fan of Eddie’s and what he’s done in the last 5 years, but sadly his time has come and a fresh face is needed. It happens. Everyone has a shelf life where the players ben...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
Its been good under EJ mostly Before he turned up we'd always be losing to Wales and Ireland. He's never given us anything as bad as 2015 rwc. We had an undefeated year, we had a GS which apparently is like f**king rocking horse shit for us. Hes been good! Its just, he's also served up maybe 3 or 4...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
Apart from Curry and Itoje, I actually hate this team. Eddie, with the continued selection of Saracens, must be thinking 'the devil you know' rather than picking new players and getting them to learn the ways of this team. You can tell its a real team - the players know eachother and the drills so ...

Re: Telegraph: “England would be worst defending 6N champs”
All those players and resources, a coach with more time and access to his players than any previous England coach, and this is what they serve up. There’s no excuses. This bunch of over hyped losers need a rocket up the backside. I’d happily see Gatland take charge and tell a few home truths.

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
More players and resources than any other country on the planet. A coach with more access to his players than any other England coach, yet still they produce so little. How the hell has it come to this? There can’t be any exudes anymore for England performing so consistently badly.

I thought the point of Ollie Lawrence was to add some power to the England midfield so far he has been consistently ragdolled in attack and brushed aside in defence I've not one to say this about players usually, but for his job he's undersized and under-powered at Test level to be a crash ball mer...
