Half of the posters in this thread sound just like this. Based Ali

Sounds like the resurgence of 'White Australia' is just a decade away as the Anglo West lashes out in death throes over being usurped as a global power.

Re: Pick your current All Black XXIII

If NZ lost the Bledisloe with Cane as captain would he be demoted? From the evidence of SR Aotearoa NZ are severely handicapping themselves if they've nailed their colours to that mast. Outplayed by Boshier (at 6 but playing as a second 7), Dylan Hunt, Ardie Savea, Dalton Papali'i, DuPlessis Kirifi ...

Re: Please sign petition to sack Phil Kearns

Kearns is shite, adds nothing besides his laughable Tahs bias. Constantly puts viewers off with his whinging and has no insight into the modern game.

Out of the kiwi commentators TJ is way better than Nisbo.

Jesse Mogg should get a spot in the balding (but still not shaved head) XV as well with Faddes.

Re: OFFICIAL Scotland vs Fiji Thread!

Pretty surprising there's no Peni Ravai? I thought he's definitely Fiji's best scrummaging prop and seems to be going very well in France. Tuisova and Nadolo absent as well is presumably injury related? Yato and Mata could cause havoc against that inexperienced Scottish backrow. Hope Fagerson and Ri...

Embra 10-0 up against Connacht at half time.

Kinghorn, Watson and MacInally the main standouts. Dominating territory in the first half, excellent Connacht defence though

Matt Scott also making some nice contributions

Congrats to the Eagles

Knew they'd be a potential upset. Hope it help raises the profile of rugby in the US, clear progress from just the first year of MLR.

Re: Offishal 'murica vs Scotsland match thread

Scotland centre pairing is tiny compared to the US. Been watching Lasike in the MLR. Got the feeling he'll recreate this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NUJqCdk88U This pack is also fairly lightweight, definite banana skin for Scotland. Exciting potential but will need to get the basics righ...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

I am most puzzled by Hamilton at 7. Surely that isn’t his usual position? What we saw of him briefly in the AIs made me think we might have found the big ball carrier we need. 9 out of his 11 starts this season for Leicester were at 7. He's only listed at 104kg which is similar to Barclay and Watso...

Re: Try scoring techniques

Once clear, how a play scores is a bit immaterial - Ashton does his swan dive mostly, but has also buried in with both hands when he needs to. I find it more astounding how England players don’t draw the man before passing, or seem interested in hitting the ball at pace. Once clear of course, but s...

Re: Try scoring techniques

Good post. Drills to put the ball down properly are well worth it. BOD was the best. Didn't he do that weird slide in on his arse thing sometimes as well? Kearney is another one if I remember correctly. He has done, but he has scored from all angles. The slide on the arse can be useful if you have ...

Would have liked Hastings to start and Jackson on the bench to steady the ship if necessary. Hopefully he does get at least 20 minutes or more if the game is secured by the hour mark.
