On a more serious note, what’s the explanation of Germany’s lower fatality numbers than the UKs? Get the ‘detected’ infection difference but the death numbers interest me. If the UK are only testing acute cases and Germany is getting everyone then the comparable figures are approximately 12k in Ger...

There's a statutory cap on an unfair dismissal but I'd hazard a guess if there's anything to the claim the settlement would be higher, it being perfectly normal for a settlement to go well beyond the cap He’s turned down a settlement. He is apparently intending to go to court regarding 'constructiv...

Very late reply-
I suppose you should put me down for the blues- I grew up in Cardiff, & started watching CRFC when Edwards and John were the half backs, and Barry Llewelyn was prop- which brings me to my position- THP (Terry Holmes was our scrum-half at school)

Re: The ongoing English Nationalist/Brexit thread
Interesting take by Robert Peston (long, but worth reading) We are witnessing a titanic struggle between the executive - personified by the prime minister - and parliament. That much is true. But is this anti-democratic or grotesquely unconstitutional or a coup or an attempt by a handful of arrogant...

It has been quite a journey over the past year; his blog and facebook page document it well- a long read from the very start, but rewarding. Ed Jackson Attempts Snowdon Today-Please Read
Climbing to the summit of Snowdon might not appear to be an earth shattering mountaineering achievement but in this case, given the backstory of Ed Jackson( ex Wasps, London Welsh and Dragons) if he makes it, it will be quite an achievement. We managed to mess up the election all on our own I find it deeply humiliating that the Russians made no attempt to interfere with our elections; but presumably they knew that we could make a complete mess of it without their assistance. from a letter to the Independent http://www.independent.co.uk...
