Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread

He didn't kick it out of his hands. The Cardiff player f**ked that and he knew it. The Cooney one was about 10 phases back from the try and as it wasn't foul play wasn't reviewable. I thought the Carre one was harsh at the time but a slow mo showed it was 100% a deliberate knock on. Ah so it did ha...

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread

I think carre's effort was a knock on so fair enough on that one. I thought the Thomas young non try was a kick out of his hands. If you accidentally kick a ball out of a ruck it would still be a penalty, so whatever the tackler intended that was the result. Seems like it should have been looked at...

I think my favourite thing is this tweet https://twitter.com/URCOfficial/status/ ... 8560375085 by the URC, celebrating a dead cert pen try as good defending. That or discovering the TMO is an ulsterman employed by the SRU

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread

Anyone else heard of Shane Lewis-Hughes to Scarlets? No but not surprising, he’s been way out of favour for unknown reasons, same for Owen lane and I’d expect both to be gone, both more than good enough to be starters elsewhere. SLH, is a significantly better 6 than Mann and has been poorly managed

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread

Also, Cooney knocked the ball in the lead-up to Ulster's last try. And, I don't think your allowed to kick the ball out of a player's hands whether they're in the act of scoring or not No your not, it’s a pen try, plus coneys knock on, plus the final call it should’ve been 30-9 point win. Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread

We should just start boycotting games when these referees consistently do this, this is the second time this year Adamson has manipulated use of the TMOs when an Irish team is facing Cardiff to get the result. He;'s bent sycophant, and we need to use our leverage to have him struck off

Just looking at the squad we had when we won the league to now. Farkingly depressing. 2016/7 Back 3: Johnny McNicholl, Liam Williams, Steff Evs (when was league's top try scorer) and Van der Merwe Centres: Scott Williams, Jonathan Davies, Hadley Parkes - Regan King left at end of prior season FH/SH...

I don’t think it’s fair to paint two games as a pattern to live by, for those two games in a squad and fund decimated season, I raise you Cardiff losing by 4 points thanks to one try awarded through Tom Dunns ass by an X-ray vision ref, or ospreys beating the prem winners away last year, or Cardiff ...

the regions have a 6 year deal in place, and after that there'd be an unwinnable case between whoever is to shut(cease funding) not to mention anyone other than the dregs requires the £10m reimbursement.
