Apparently this might not even be a Pompeii resident doing what it looks like he's doing ... but arms bent in the heat. Think it might have been quashed now anyway. Although Jamie Gibson has see definitely left , seemingly without a club lined up. Sign of the times I guess, that someone like him isn't walking straight into a new gig. Blimey!! Good player, amazed he hasn't been snapped up elsewhere Yeah, he's always ...

Only recently discovered Robert Smith played lead guitar for Siouxsie and the Banshees https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5jmB4xgNWw fudge - I never knew that. Loved Siouxsie and the Banshees' late 80s stuff (when presumably he wasn't playing with them). I thought this was pretty well known. He playe...

Re: All Blacks vs Kangaroos - Let's get ready to rumble
It could be like when Wigan played Sale. 40mins of League and then swap to Union at half-time. Sale won the game Wigan played Bath in two separate games, one league, one union. Wigan smashed them at league, but did reasonably well in losing a slightly watered-down union game. I remember a couple of...

I've always been a huge fan of Ringworld by Larry Niven, I must have read it and the sequel half a dozen times when I was a teenager and in my 20s. I recently decided to revisit the books during lockdown, and both still hold up well today. I then foolishly decided to move on to the (written much lat...

I don't think the Kpoku talk was ever anything more than that really. Isiekwe is a good addition to the squad, but we're not exactly short at lock or 6. A top-quality number 8 is what we really need, Harrison is doing a fantastic job there but he does need a week off occasionally.

If he wasn't such a big girl's blouse, Harry Mallinder. Can play anywhere in the backline and at 6' 5" should be okay in the lineout. Might struggle in the front row.

Yup. I had one a few years ago, saw a GP and got sent for physio, and also had to do exercises at home every day with a giant rubber band. Took months before it was right again.

The other hooker besides Tommy Taylor who might have been up for the squad is Mike Haywood. Is he on his way back from long term injury, I haven't seen much of him recently? Haywood is still some way off his best, though it probably doesn't help that Saints are down to 5th/6th choice locks and the ...
