Re: Wales Vs Italy - 6N Official Match Thread - Welsh wooden 🥄?

For the first time i 24 years, I can understand the statement: “Yeah you scored some tries in the end but the match was over”. It’s the first time in 24 years that I thought after 10 minutes: “Ok, we got this, we can win this.” The first time Italia controlled the game from the first minute till th...

Re: Wales Vs Italy - 6N Official Match Thread - Welsh wooden 🥄?

From conceding 150+ pts against the ABs and France at the RWC to 2 wins and a draw in France in less than 6 months. Most remarkable turnaround in the sport's history. I think that something went on in the last two games in the Italian camp. We are certainly inferior to AB and France, but we didn’t ...

Wow. Just wow. I do not think Italia will be able to repeat what did 2 years ago. Should be a close match until latter stages. I hope to see our guys fight like they did all the tournament, even in Dublin. Would be fantastic to avoid that wooden spoon once in a decade You should have greater ambiti...

Re: The Official Itlay v Scotland Match Thread

Great game. Should be 2Ws if not some crap ref decision on the final kick in the Fra game. Forza Azzurri! They should have beaten England too. The English try at the end of the first half that sparked their comeback should never have stood. Italy should have been challenging to win the whole thing ...

Is this the most competitive 6N?

I don’t recall any edition of the tournament where literally any team could beat the other. For many years we didn’t stand a chance, but this year almost every game has been so close and entertaining that I cannot wait for the next game!

Law 8.21 The kick must be taken within 60 seconds (playing time) from the time the team indicated their intention to do so, even if the ball rolls over and has to be placed again. So the clock correctly should not have stopped. But does law 8.27 apply? If the opposing team infringes while the kick ...

Isn't double movement when you get up to propel yourself forward as opposed as when you are dragged over the line? Depends what you mean by 'get up'. He is clearly tackled and on the ground, then pushes himself backwards over the line and places the ball. I thought it should have been disallowed. Y...
