Re: Jeff's All New And Morose Wales Ratings v Italy

15. Cam Winnett – Still makes rookie mistakes, which is unsurprising given that he is in fact a rookie. He’s had a lot of plaudits this campaign, and a fair amount of them deserved...but I don’t think I’ll ever be convinced by the prospect of an 80kg/12.5 stone soaking wet pro. 4/10 Not my pony, no...

Re: France vs England - Official 6 Nations Thread - 16 March 24

He offers valuable and versatile skills as a sub at least. 10, 15 or he has the pace and boot to fill in on the wing in extremis.

He can, as shown yesterday, pop up in midfield and be destructive.

Maybe he won't be a starter, maybe he will, but he's got sufficient stuff to be in the 23 at least

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

Not a fan of his at all, but Slade did a number of good things. He doesn't have the pace for this defensive system. When there's a line break in behind he gets burned. 13 needs to have serious wheels in this system imo Yep. He's been hung out to dry a few times by the winger outside him too. He's b...

Re: Warren Gatland's resignation offer turned down by WRU chief

Gatland lead the Waikato Chiefs to 8 consecutive losses and the wooden spoon in his first season in charge but they turned that around and made the Grand final the following season ... under a 'caretaker' coach after Gatland had fvcked off to coach the Lions. So based on that perhaps this Welsh tea...

He's not wrong Oz won the RWC in 1999. So its not comparing like for like. I predict you'll see a renaissance in the Wallabies, culminating in them at least making the final of the 2027 World Cup... Wales are doing the right thing, starting again... it's a new era... seeing who can handle test rugb...

The result WAS important to England, especially from the low base of our expectation. And if you had been English, on the English thread, you would understand that. It is...

You have to imagine Gatland has 40 minutes to save his job and career Career? His record trumps any failures in this campaign which can be put down to the paucity of playing resources.
