Re: Coronavirus Thread. Virus v humans

Lets be honest, the report states that it does not know the clinical significance of the drop in antibodies. More people will die this year from using NSAIDs than vaccines. I’m far from being an expert on this... but isn’t that normal. The purpose of a vaccine is to teach the immune system how to m...

Is Faletau covering 7?

If we're going to kick the leather off the ball and chase then Murray is a better option than Price.

Re: The official Lions 2021 thread

Exactly this. I wouldn't be changing either of them. Both had fine games. Maro made two turnovers, once of which was VERY marginal (knee on the Saffer player), but aside from that it was hard to pick between the two. Ignoring all of that, Lawes was the standout forward, and VERY unlucky not to get ...

Itoje makes 8 tackles and 5 carries, and the bored allow the media narrative to spin themselves into a frothy wankfest. AWJ leads the team to victory, makes 10 tackles and 5 carries, merely 4 weeks after a dislocated shoulder, and you've got folks saying he was anonymous and should be dropped. You ...

Re: The official Lions 2021 thread

Agreed. Gats isn't one for changing willy-nilly. However, I can't see him playing the same gameplan and personnel in the backs, so expect Aki to start in place of Daly. The midfield had zero physicality (Henshaw was in and out of the game), and that doesn't work if you're shovelling slow ball out (...

Personally him moaning about Vunipola on his own account was worse. Kolbe dived to try and milk a penalty (like Faff did on the Henshaw break) and Vunipola, rightly, picked him up and told him to wise the fúck up. Kolbe dived? Surely you leave the opposition to themselves and you carry on with your...

Re: Coronavirus Thread. Virus v humans

It’s a nuanced argument but I keep finding myself more persuaded that enforcement is not the answer, if certain sub-populations are hesitant about vaccination or have a lack of trust in centralised authority then enforcing vaccination may work in the short term but you’ll be entrenching those views...

If Biggar is out then could we see Hogg covering 10? Gatland has done it before.

I think Daly should drop out but I don't think he'll want to change his 10 and 13 if Biggar doesn't make it.

Okay so I have found an error in your scores, for some reason there was a hard coded 92 against Oosthuizen's score that should have been a -9, as I must have stuck something in manually to that cell last time round (maybe a typo etc.) As a result your scores were Spieth/2nd/-10 Fitzpatrick/26th/26 R...

Re: Bulldog Memorial Cup: The 2021 Open Championship

A quick look at some of the other scores and they also look a bit questionable. Frodders for example sticks out. I count he had 215 minus 27, so 188. Tazmans is also another that appears way off. The obvious issue being picks that have players who missed the cut. Fully appreciate it's a bit of fun ...

Shocking all round from the management and recruitment side of things.
