Only saw him play the once, Coventry came to Cardiff in 1977 I think, remember getting his autograph before the game, he was happy to chat to some kids and smiled when we called him Dai Duckham, I think he’d heard it before but he was loved in Wales. Covid I think has meant crowded places you have to pre book or get there early - just that the town centre was relatively muted and non match day, with cabs hard to find as well. URC is a far better competition than Pro 12/14/16 It is not the Irish/South African's fault that the Welsh Regions are weak. Of course it’s not…. The regions just don’t seem to care so why should their supporters? I no longer consider Cardiff to be my team, my adopted club now means far more to me....
