Re: London Irish Nearly Gone.....?
Ealing will be in the URC in some guise 2024/25. What has been explained to me has too many holes in it for me to try and post here, because it'll just be the usual swarm of insults that I freely admit I don't know enough to answer. Lets just say it involves the purchase of a team by another teams ...

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread
Hawkins is 20 - still time for him to get some caps later on in his career. Not a great loss for him, or for Wales, at this stage Thinking about the Henry Thomas thing- Hawkins will be england qualified? In 5 years time - yes You can’t change country on residency alone. If he is already England qua...

The funny thing is, if I know then many others must as well, including the media, but they are happy to play the official card rather than write a piece.

Hello mate - I just called to ticketone for you; the operator says that ticket is a subscription for two games (the one with Ireland and the one with Wales) Hope it help (and hope the operator did not talk s.hit!) Cheers mate, much appreciated. Looking forward to my third trip to Rome, great place ...

Re: Is there anyone from Italy who goes to the 6N games in Rome?
Abbanamento means subscription, 2 g likely stands for 2 giochi i.e. two games. Did you buy this as a single ticket second hand? It likely came in a pair and this is the first one and the second one is somewhere else with the other date for the Wales game. It's my account, i have two tickets, I can ...

They came through ticketone. So far I can’t find a way to email them, but I’ll have a better look tomorrow when I have a computer. So farit seems they only have an FAQ that just goes nowhere and a number that can only be called from within Italy.

I think the tickets I have for Italy Wales, seem to be a double ticket for Italy v Ireland and Italy v Wales. The only date shown on the ticket is 25/2 But it says in Italian ABBONAMENTO 2 g IRLANDA - GALLES SIX NATIONS 2023 Data/ora: sabato, 25/02/2023 15.15 Località: STADIO OLIMPICO / ROMA Organiz...

Another one I have heard is that the Prem will be 2 x 10 A and B and one of the current Prem 11 has stuck it's hand up to be the club that goes down.... Falcons. All rumours, nothing gospel. For me though this is the answer 10 x 2 2 up two down. Let the league grow naturally rather than forcing it o...

Re: Ealing Trailfinders negotiating to join the WRU / URC
All the years that the Welsh wanted to go join the English because it would be better for them, and now the English want to join the URC. Steady on. It's a bunch of lads from the English second tier, who average 2-3k attendances. So basically on a par with Connacht. You think we get that many...

Ealing Trailfinders negotiating to join the WRU / URC
If the RFU don't want them then they are looking to play elsewhere.
I have my opinions how the Premiership should look and how Ealing will fit into that and how the game can grow naturally so hopefully this is just a negotiating tool.

Only saw him play the once, Coventry came to Cardiff in 1977 I think, remember getting his autograph before the game, he was happy to chat to some kids and smiled when we called him Dai Duckham, I think he’d heard it before but he was loved in Wales. John Spencer played for Coventry that day as well.

Covid I think has meant crowded places you have to pre book or get there early - just that the town centre was relatively muted and non match day, with cabs hard to find as well. Kick off time didn’t help either, by the time we had a post game couple of beers and wasted 20 mins trying to get a boer...

Why do most of the disastrous all Blacks performances come when the play someone out of position in the 13 shirt?
Cullen in 1999 and there is another one that escapes me.
Don’t they have a decent 13?
