Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

I am pretty sure the game will get canned and we can add yet another way of unfairly exiting a RWC. If the point difference were in our favour rather than Japan, I can imagine the game would be moved so that it would take place. As it stands the host go through and we go home - sickening. It makes n...

Re: Italy not allowed to play - a disgrace for the sport

I find it hard to believe that the games couldn't have been moved to the Monday. If there is total devastation than the whole tournament will be in doubt. So outright cancelling seems odd rather than postponing - to me anyway. From a Scots point of view we may be about to reach the pinnacle of 'sick...

It’s a farce.

Would it even have been looked, had Brian Moore not made his ‘contact in the eye area’ bollocks statement. While not mentioning grabbing of the throat area.

Makes the citing panel look silly.

We are having some work done in our house and the plumber found an old newspaper stuffed under the floorboards. Most of the pages are gone - but there are a couple of great ad's and headlines. Paper date 5th Nov 1909 - so 108 years old! http://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx275/montymunky/1909%20P1.j...

Good game so far - if Sexton was 100% I'd get Farrell off and T'eo on. Farrell is a liability.

Likewise Farrell might still be carrying an injury - the simple kick he missed was probably due to the quad issue.

To be honest Ford looked good v the Pumas last weekend as well - but Russell would be more exciting.

I was pleased with the way the team had some of the Townsend spirit. Quick tap pen, back flip pass etc.

As long as they have the handling skills we could be in for a entertaining era. (Hopefully)
