The biggest surprise to me is that we have gone with a 5/3 bench. Why's that for you? I thought Tate would get the nod so work as back up wing as well - so i thought 6-2 also (Hodge and Tate). --- On NZ: - OK team - don't like JB at wing, don't think that answers any questions - With RMO playing 10...

Not too fussed about the RC this year and I think if it's a dead rubber (i.e the ABs have the Bledisloe wrapped up) we'll see the wider AB squad come into play. Those with young families will be asked if they want to play the final test and if not they can head home a week early and a scratch team w...

His body has cried enough. he put it on the line like no other for 7 games and one more was too much. (He went off injured against the Sadists) Thought jacobsen did well on his return. I hope that Gats (or his fill-in) have already started looking for some decent tight forwards or else we'll do it ...

Finally, BB at 10... licence to thrill facing a rookie 10 but would love to see BB dominate a game through his strategic kicking , picking his moments to run and most importantly creating space/time for his outside backs. Hoping the Chiefs win this though. I suspect you'll be waiting a while....

I'm struggling to understand why Macdonald would drop Black for BB. BB has been playing plenty of minutes at 10 anyway, and there is no doubt that Black has been the better performed 1st five. Didn't Black pick up a knock last week? Maybe giving him a breather? Neither of those are plausible option...

For me, I'm enjoying Super rugby Aotearoa because of the high quality rugby & rivalry between the teams. Super rugby over the past decade, has been diluted with too many poor teams (SA, Aus teams predominantly anchoring the bottom of the tables), conference system that ensured 1 finalist per confere...
