Re: Cotechino vs Haggis - Lazy Italy v Scotland Thread
What a difference 2 weeks/1 game makes......Remember people were predicting a Scottish win against the Saes. However the Scottish posters were much more reticent. Now it's gloom and doom, honestly you could be Welsh with this up and down stuff Sounds to me like down and down stuff - there's been no...

Re: 6N all-time table
If England have 61 bonus points, and England also have 36 try bonus points, then how do Scotland have the most losing bonus points at 22? Am I missing something? Extra bonus points for a Grand Slam for a start Thanks. That's what I was missing. BPs are new-fangled enough as it is, without that does...

I'm just against Japan and South Africa joining. I think threat of relegation would force Italy to get its shit together and make the likes of Spain and Portugal better knowing there is an incentive to put more money into rugby. Spain get big crowds at their games. We need to help bring them up. We...

Re: 6 Nations + Relegation
Serious suggestion (from someone who is anti- World League): to givr a bit more incentive/progression for 2nd tier Europe and to add a wee bit of annual spice, designate one of the Autumn International weekends as one where 6N 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place play against Rugby Championship 1st-4th, and ...

Could it be that Dodson's very large compensation was in part driven by getting more bums onto seats, but that the very same bums are major contributors to what some see as the worsening atmosphere?

I totally disagree about Price.
He was the main defensive culprit in the concession of the try, and he was the one who gave away a stupidly blatant offside in midfield.
He did some decent stuff, sure, but those were very big errors.

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
I haven't re-watched the match but it seemed to me yesterday that, every time Scotland got into Ireland's 22 (apart from the late siege), a penalty was almost instantly awarded against them. It seems scarcely believable that they could contrive to commit such penalties, so quickly, every time. But a...

You know what - this could work if it was eight groups of three, with all groups being teams from different leagues. Then there'd be no need for best runners-up in the quarter-finals, which could be two-legged along with the semis. And if the Challenge Cup was ditched, of course. Possible groups, wh...

I should, but am embarrassed to admit that I don't. It's f-cking shameful, I've been in Sweden for six years and still can't wrap my head around the language. It's extremely frustrating and a bit embarrassing, because it hasn't been without trying. I'm beginning to think I just don't have a brain w...

Seems fair Scotland ahead of Argentina (who were gash in the RWC) is very ambitious imo. Argies had a shit year, the Scots have had a shit 20 years. Scots beat Argies when they play though. Scots tend to beat Aussies when they play too. What are Australia doing that high up? It's not as if they had...
