Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

The least Leinster could do if they're flashing the cash is buyout Pete Wilkins contract and hire him as Rhys Ruddock's personal head shaver. Then we're all square.

Tyler Bleyendaal a coach of interest for Leinster according to Jackman. Jordie Barrett also being linked with Leinster in latest 42 rugby weekly. Jordie Barrett would be such a weird signing, he'd be a guaranteed starter and you've Ireland internationals galore to pick from in his positions sounds ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Devine in one line break has done more than Blade in months Fact. Looked very lively bar one loose pass on the attack. Jennings offered way more threat at 15 than TOH too. Only positive out of that is seeing lots of young homegrown lads out there at the end- both Murrays, Devine, Jennings, De Buitl...

It's the right call but it's kicking a dog that already got ran over on the motorway by an Audi A5. Is that what the TMO is for? Sticking their nose in to relitigate every ref decision for a non-foul play, technical infringement, without the ref requesting any input? In fairness it didn't look nece...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Be sorry to see him go. Loved watching him play, he’s unfortunate that’s a position we have a glut of guys coming through in Cathal Forde, Hugh Gavin and John Devine. Still think he probably offers more than Hawkshaw When Farrell gets a run of games he's excellent, the problem is him staying health...

so Tom Farrell to Munster? It'll be interesting to see if it means he'll be backup 13 to an SOB in his natural position should that Frisch lad leave. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Jaysus look at Mack Hanson…there are options out there that don’t have to initially cost an arm or a leg. Connacht's signing strategy of unknowns or ex Sevens players should be be rolled out to Munster anyways. Pete Wilkins can even head down there himself for a few seasons to streamline things.

Not sure exactly what you mean there with the writing on the wall. Do you mean he's being phased out? That's my feeling anyways. If he's in the 23 for Scotland (not writing off England but surely if he's released to Connacht for Scarlets he won't feature in Twickenham) it'll be proven as nonsense b...

Just trying to figure it out. Reading between the lines, I'd say Farrell allowed some leeway with Bealham while keeping him technically available for selection. The fact he was released to Connacht suggests he wasn't in line for England either. Farrell is all about family so, again, presume that wa...

That was myself on here and was confirmed by Farrell too. He did have a baby fairly recently, wasn't it? But he was available for selection. A bit vague all the goings on but anyway he's back in camp now, hopefully will be in the 23 for Twickenham. Jager got his first cap and did well. Happy days. ...

Disappointing to lose Kilgallen. Lads like McNulty and Mullins aren't looking too likely to work out, TOH is old, Cordero might have lost more than a yard or two pace with the cruciate and who knows if Porch will stick around.
