sure, but in a few months they won't hold any territory either.

the question remains, who will ? and what role will the US play in it ?

for me, assad and sdf/ypg need to be in talks NOW.

Jamie George. Is picked for the all-time Lions side. Okay. AND. Nobody seems to contest it ? What the fk is happening with Jamie George that I'm not getting ? Davies isn't near the standard of BOD in 2001 or 2009 tests. He put himself and rossouw out of the tour with his head butt tackle in 2009. Points deducted. Just talent or Lions form? Going on the latter: Howley at 9, run close by 97 Dawson Scott Quinnell needs to be in there. The ultimate tourist. Guscott to replace Greenwood, at the very least. I'd start him Corbs to replace Adam Jones. Swap Poc to start and Shawsie in bench did howley play a test fo...

Re: Lions dream team 97-17

By any measure. Howley was twice the player. Well not "any" measure. Dawson was part of a more successful international side. And then, well, I'm out. In terms of individual ability and talent, he's can't hold a candle to Howley. I suspect the same could be said of them as men. An interesting final...

no idea why people are picking Williams. Following the MASSIVE success of my article on the subject of a combined 2013-2017 Lions team, here's the follow up. And it's the big one. btw, my other contender for man of the series would be Andy Farrell.

the one really outstanding thing from the lions has been the periods of defensive pressure that has led to all blacks' mistakes.

I'd be very happy to have Watson on the wing for Ireland . He's a proper top level winger. Not to say I wouldn't take the AB's wingers in a heartbeat.
