I’d have no problem going down to 7 subs like 2009. This would be less than half the team. And would still allow the Boks to do their bomb squad of 6 forwards, but it would like make the tactic more risky for them.

I would hope everyone could live with that.

I was born in the early 80s I always felt that the early 90s maybe late 80s were the best times.

Especially when it came to technology. It felt that we had enough technology but it didn’t rule our lives like it does now.

Also TV/Cinema were at their peak in the 80s and 90s.

Apparently he only arrived in November so leaving less than 6 months into a 3 year contract suggests something went wrong. I wonder if he ever settled in Belfast. I'm not y sure why this has become an issue? It should by up to the team /coach to decide how many forwards they pick on the bench. Look at the old games. Scrums took no time. The ball was in and out. These days roided up orcs take minutes per scrum. I hate to think how much of the game is taken up by scrums and scrum penalties. They are part of the game. Surely you should go and watch sevens or league ... Or basketball rugby ....
