Re: Banning smoking - does it make sense?
I always laugh when people think banning tobacco would make a thriving black market, it's already a dying drug, vaping is where its clearly at now for the younger generation. The labour policy of having an age where you couldn't buy anymore but allow those who are already addicted to continue was br...

Re: The Official Capt Hurricane Hurricanes vs Blues Match Thread.
That was the first time that I've watched a Super Rugby game in....I don't know, maybe a few years. The Hurricanes looked ok in patches, but their passes let themselves down at times. As for the Blues, I can't quite put my finger on it, but they appear to be lacking something in their play. A centre?

Re: Richie Mounga's Legacy
The reason Carter was so much better at goal kicking, simple, repetition.
When Jordie and Beaudy are out playing 18 holes of golf Carter would use that time to kick goals for 4 hours. Miss that the most about Carter, the confidence you felt everytime he lined up a kick.

What happened to our line out in the first half? It was a pillar of strength that turned into a pile of dogshit. People moving all over the place and Codie Taylor appeared to get the yips.

Barnes was fine. I actually like his calm & clear manner. Some laws need changing though. Social media is full of nutters and they grew in number during the covid years. Agreed. I'm still confused about the Ardie penalty that wasn't in particular. Barnes knew he was wrong before it was taken but st...

Re: Richie Mo’unga
Hopefully next year whoever has the 10 jersey is given the full set of keys, none of this shared duties, let the 10 be the 10, restarts, penalty kicks, conversions. Sure Jordie can have a wild punt from halfway if needed, but you have to feel for Mo'unga, not being able to become the general as 10s ...
