Re: Official Golf Thread
A mate of mine is captain and the bastard called in a favour . The only woman I've ever played golf with before is Mrs L and as she only ever wants to play 5 holes, and only then when the sun is shining (a very limited number of days each year), it's not been too bad. It was pure hardship on Saturd...

So, anyways, good win. Just hope it's not our one good annual performance and we return to playing like spackers in the 6N. I said exactly these words to my brother - We can be right spackers..... Love that word Spacker - always makes me smile... RWC 2012 draw - guaranteed to get Australia and Arge...

Re: The Coaching Thread (The Return)
While both my kids are at least two years away, I'm curious what tackling drills people run through for beginning youngsters to ensure they learn proper technique while also instilling confidence. Cheers in advance. Personally, I'd forget about pads. All the tackling work I do with youngsters (u12s...

Re: 2012 Official Golf Thread
A f**king belly putter, how mortifying. glad I'm not the only one!! I'd rather give up! Pretty much every expert says it's an easier way to putt (using only one axis) and that the vast majority of amateur gofers would benefit from it. As long as something lowers my scores then I don't give a shit w...

Re: 2012 Official Golf Thread
Luton Hoo was ok - pretty up and down first few holes but back nine much more mature.. 2 over after 7 - but then 4 blobs after finished up with 33 points off 13 hit the ball well but chipping was twatastic Not sure if I'll put the Master Prediction comp on this year? Depends if enough people are bo...

Re: 2012 Official Golf Thread
Had a couple of decent outings early season -just re-joined Whittlebury and shot a very "easy" 83 just kept the ball in play the whole way round and putted averagely.... Hoping to get down to low teens this year and get back into the game.... Playing Luton Hoo on Friday - looking forward to it... Wa...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Greg Feek really is the business. Our scrum is a very good one now, Paris was a real watershed in that area I think. DOC on Feek. “Our scrum probably doesn’t get enough mention but to be fair to Greg Feek, he’s got to get an awful lot of praise, just for the work he’s done in terms of analysis. I t...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
pretty encouraged this 6 nations - without so many of the old guard...... I'm going to be controversial - but I can see Earls growing into the 13 shirt - he hasn't been shown up defensively and thought he had his best game at 13 yesterday. Ryan was immense, the back row looked more balanced (despite...
