They were cúnts. They used to drive 6-inch nails into trees, and nip off the heads so that it wasan't obvious they were there. With the result that any contractor trying to cut down the trees with a chainsaw, risked the chain breaking on the nails, and consequent serious injury from the flying chain.

I'll tell you right now. That Metrolink will never be built. I hear public consultation is reopening again. It's a f**king joke In a very restricted way, only to cover information that was newly introduced by TII at the oral hearing; which in turn was introduced in answer to some of questions posed...

Don't think secondary level education counts, possibly not even third level. AFAIK, it is based on years living independently in a country. So being in school (or indeed university, typically) here while your parents live abroad doesn't qualify. It is why Vas Artemyiev wasn't IQ despite all his sec...

In fairness, Winnie, I doubt the bridge piers were designed to take a 200k tonne (2 x 10*6 kN ) lateral load.

The problem was items of small value regularly going 'missing' from Garda storage at stations; and that fact just as regularly being overlooked. When you then instigate a policy of zero tolerance, in addition to the egregious cases like the cannabis, you are likely to find cases such as the much dis...

Lots of questions....
Firstly htf does a piloted ship hit a bridge pier head on ? I presume the shipping channels were mid-span.
Wtf weren't there dolphins protecting the pier from direct hits ?
This reeks of incompetence.

When SF got closer to power they had to start substantiating some of there everyone gets everything they want and it costs nobody anything except the rich (whoever they may be). That didn't go well. According to the IT, some of Leinster's early season games next autumn are going to be played in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny due to the RDS redevelopment. That'll go down well with ST holders! No idea. Maybe to give the voters who could be swung the taste of it. Something like this. When the Scottish referendum was first agreed support for independence was in the 20s. By the time they voted on it, it was up to 45%. It wasn't enough for Scotland, but a similar swing in NI would probably s...

Don't merge. Both parties currently benefit from voters flip flopping between the two of them. Centrists that want to punish the sitting govt flip to the other centrist party and back again. Re: Ban Irish horse race participation in UK because they’re too good
I seem to recall that Irish trainers get some sort of tax break which makes the playing field somewhat slanted. Is that right? Breeders do, not trainers. The big difference in Irish NH racing between now and say 20-30 years ago is that the best Irish bred horses are staying in Ireland to be trained...

Burns only on a 1 year, that's a very odd one. Is it really though? You get an experienced 10 to cover for Crowley when he's not available and who can ease Butler in rather than just throwing him in with no backup (which Ulster are about to do as we're not signing a 10) It's the only for 1 year tha...

Ireland has one active ship? Very odd for an island nation. We have 5 or 6. Can't remember exactly between new acquisitions and moth balling/decommissioning old ones. Gatland first took the Wales job 17 years ago. He does have the flexibility of a few championships to his name, which probably earns him a bit more benefit-of-the-doubt than Toonie. It was the very activity in Tragumna that alerted locals who called the police.
