He'd always throw one or two into the ground or over the head. But that was because he was the first Leinster SH to pass as he got to ruck. That, allied to his prowess as an actual rugby player, is what made him. JGP has taken that MO and raised the bar, and I expect young Gunne to raise it further...

As I commented earlier, there is an enormous supressed demand for Leinster tickets.
