Thanks for all this, much appreciated. They’re still insisting he pays the full term, but he’s going to cancel the standing order, vacate, and let them do the running. They are quite the arseholes from what I’ve seen, so fudge it.

Rounds are the ultimate acid test. If someone doesn’t get their rounds in, then they are just a wrong ‘un and can’t be trusted with anything. Among my mates, ‘he doesn’t get his rounds in’ is the final insult and dismissal.

My guess would be that the styles are very different, and looking the nuts playing touch rugby in Super Rugby doesn't always translate to going down to the West country to get your head kicked in.
