Re: Rebels vs Blues
What is the Dane Coles award? Gobbing off? Get the yips. Missing 23 lineout throws in a single game. A nightmare of a game where no matter what you do things continue to go wrong. I never knew Coles was like that. Good to see Suafoa back playing after cancer treatment. It was one really bad game. Y...

Re: Drua v Brumbies
You could be forgiven for thinking the national industry of Australia was producing ‘natural’ 7s. We’ve always had about 3 blokes at any one time who would’ve got picked in any other national team  Well apart from ‘for NZ’ of course. What about World Rugby player of the year JvDF? Presu...

Two really good games in a row from Wilson.
Best I've seen from him in defense.

Re: Moana Pasifika v Highlanders @ Nuku ‘Alofa - Today
If the throw is that wonky, you probably need to call it. We've a real issue with lineout throwing in NZ, was watching the NZU20 v SAU20, and Bason was struggling with his lineout throwing too. Nah. It's just a restart and if a team doesn't make a genuine attempt for the ball it's play on. Thats ge...

If a team doesn't make a genuine attempt to contest for a lineout then not straight calls are a complete waste of time. Especially in poor conditions. Yeah I don't rate the Reds chances with travel and Lynagh out. Nor do I, altho’ it gives me no pleasure to say it. Whatever the case, I will be sitting somewhere in Appalling Projectilevomiting Stadium watching the match unfold in steadily mounting horror. Well we couldn't have gotten it more wrong.

On the plus side we: * showed a lot of grit and determination * were quite clinical with our opportunities * showed exceptional mental fortitude on defense in the last quarter down to 14 men Work ons: * our backline was non functional except in a few circumstances. I'd have to check. All up we spend nearly $200 per month on streaming subscriptions, but that includes non TV apps like You Tube premium and Audible. We pretty much have every streaming service you can get in Australia. Jesus. Keeping in mind I have an 18 year old daughter at home plus a 22 year ol...

Stan has some good shows now and then.
For Rugby watching I haven't seen better than Stan. Kayo and Sky on demand are much worse apps imo.

Re: Melbourne Rebels... faaaaarked!
Will be a dark day for Rugby in Australia, and Super Rugby more broadly, if the Rebels are dissolved. It beggars the question, what oversight has RA provided or implemented at the Rebels? How was a team able to get so indebted? The directors lied since 2018 about being solvent. Then under Australia...

Apparently Sione Tuipulotu's younger brother (currently with Tahs) is in the verge of signing with a Scottish rugby team. Well he can't on the pitch for the Tahs, so I'm not surprised Is he hard done by here, or just not quite up to it relative to the other options? Probably end up being another Na...

Re: Melbourne Rebels... faaaaarked!
This should of been held off until the held of the season, hideous when people are still putting in 100% every week. Not that RA would care. Yeah, very odd decision I think it comes down to creditors wanting to get more than 15c on the dollar back. If they liquidate a number of creditors will do be...

I wonder if Reeces strike rate was helped by having his entire career playing under the most dominant coach in SR history (except 2024 )? His team won a title every year he played. Likely to an extent. But so did George Bridge, and his strike rate is 37 tries in 83 games=44.5%, comparable to Clarke...
