Re: Property Rental Advice - UK
As above - check what notice period is. Think there's some weird thing about an assured shorthold being the tenant's primary residence, which would impact if your son can just pay out rent on both places until fixed period ends, but can't recall. Also be a bit careful about how notice needs to be se...

Re: Post COVID work environment for those who haves productive tools that can be carried anywhere
It’s a tricky one. Even if people are largely working on computers there is still the informal interactions, the ability to swing around in a chair and ask WTF does this on the screen mean. Video calls, chat messengers can get very stilted and formal. There has to be some balance between the two. P...

Re: Jarryd Hayne sent to prison
Racism needs stamped out, should be sitting out the remainder of the season. Agree with first part, not entirely sold on second. I'm not usually one for chairman Mao style re-education, but I do think actually getting the transgressor to think through and fundamentally address their behaviour is be...

Different hemisphere and different specific subject, but still on topic of misbehaviour in league and I'm lazy so thought I'd drop it here. Wigan's Tony Chubb has been given an 8-week ban for calling Andre Savelio a 'stupid Polynesian bastard', and quite a few in league think it's not a long enough ...

After a good few years of trials and tribulations, we're going to meet our (at this point still potential) adoptive girls for the first time this weekend The entire focus has been on getting our house and lives in general ready for them, no small feat in lockdown, so I haven't actually thought what ...

I'm pretty sure the Irish "caucus" in Congress will be made aware of what's happening, which means that Pelosi will be aware of it. Just so I'm clear, the report suggests that any statutes of limitations won't apply for war crimes genocide or torture - does the extrajudicial killing of civilians not count as a potential war crime, or are the troubles not counted as a war (c.f. Malayan 'emergency')?
