Re: Wallabies 2020 thread

But you watched the games, right? If you did, you’d know he was head and shoulders above the others in form this year. Wasn’t close. Campbell had two good games, and even in these he couldn't tackle 3rd grade fractions. Shit though, maybe you're a better judge of Dave Rennie and Sleepy Jock is bett...

I am saddened by how many of you actually believe Biden is an upgrade on Trump. It is as if you willfully ignore his history of racism, hypocrisy, and now his corruption, and enablement of his son's deviancy, and criminal behaviour. You are stupid people. Biden may well win. Has Covid faded away yet? Also, I see Pence talking about Trumps how much they've achieved and how they have kept their campaign promises. So I'm assuming the following have been completed? - Obama care replaced. - Hillary locked up. - the wall built and paid for by Mexico - The deficit down. - Ove...

It's tiny compared to the NRL or AFL. Be that as it may, the point stands. Were they consulted? Perhaps even more to the point, was any sort of consultation conducted? It would seem to me worthwhile to know what club rugby players of indigenous descent think about this, as well. Anything we do in t...

Definitely time for McDermott and Lolesio to get the call up on the bench to get at least 20-30 mins - if DR is serious about the 'Nail it, or you're out' bit, that is. JOC has been quite good, especially last week, but I have been going through a fantasy replay of the last minutes of Bled 1 in my h...

I zimbra. to summon a monster apparently yes, and his name be Ned hanigan Hopefully DR has seen something we haven't seen. It was a humdinger of a game, and well played to both sides. Excitingly unfamiliar: the Wallabies hitting the ground running in a Test in NZ, despite limited preparation, dominating possession, and getting a draw over there (anything except a loss over there is unfamiliar, but this side was unlucky ...

Unbelievable they don't use a neutral ref. Probably thought it's early Christmas. How do you get a neutral ref in, Covid has slowed travel. OH shit ja. I'm guessing it's more to do with us doing an 'extra 2' thing with NZ so we play them 2 more times than all the other teams do - looks like it was ...

That last penalty kicked for NZ was a result of a scrum push by NZ in which the Wobs scrum went backwards and disintegrated. I would have thought a preferable balance for the Wallabies backrow would have been 6 Samu 7 Hooper 8 Wilson, as Samu is a bit light for an 8 but has great mobility as a 6. How much is Samu outweighed by the kiwi Goliath? Yeah, I get it, Rennie may have put Wilson at 6 to counter Frizell's size. So...
