Re: FAO bimbo

Like a lot of things.. I suspect the truth lies somewhere inbetween... Possibly, the expertise,of the authors though wasn’t in doubt for most of their careers or academic lives. Only when they went against the political required narratives. Again, look at the outcomes in Sweden for evidence of poli...

Re: France vs England - Official 6 Nations Thread - 16 March 24

Bad precedent set by Gardner with allowing the protracted debate with George and other England players on issues that had already ruled on. He caused that by saying Smith had handled the ball on the line, which would have been a drop out, not a scrum. He needs to be more direct and clearer in his c...

Re: France vs England - Official 6 Nations Thread - 16 March 24

The decision that annoyed me most was the early turnover by France with the player clearly off his feet when England were in a promising position. Its a lottery on the rucks I'm afraid. I wish they'd ref it to the laws. People put their hands on the ball , go off their feet, take oppo players down....

He also drops to the floor prior to the tackle so it's also technically a penalty on that basis too. I've also heard some people say England strayed offside. The image given to the ref gave him multiple options to punish. Just too much to ignore. Bollocks. It was easy to ignore. A completely innocu...

I do hope than Sam Warburton will give the playoff game idea a rest now that is isn’t a given that it will always be Italy that has to play in it. No he was still banging on about after the wales match yesterday. The only way I could see this as remotely possible would be for the 6n monies to be sh...

Re: France vs England - Official 6 Nations Thread - 16 March 24

Lawrence was in the 13 channel, and he got burned. He's just not that quick, and that's fine for a 12. That's why he's playing 12. Oh look- he's scored again. I've said this repeatedly. Lawrence is exposed at 13 at the highest level. He needs to play and stand at 12 in defence. He's no tompcyns tha...

Damn those rucks and caterpillars are sooooo fuckn slow.
Refs should call ball out as soon as the ball is not actually under that extended leg which happens most of the time as the scrum half rolls the ball back.
Just enforce the 5 secs from use it

This past year we’ve lost Halfpenny, Liam Williams, Dan Biggar, AWJ and Tipuric (to a name a few) and Faletau is injured and Ken Owens is unavailable/crap. 5 e...
