Watched final destination Bloodlines last night, taking the series into a slightly different direction. Very enjoyable 7.8/10

It’s not just flicking the switches off either. Both have indents for off and on so you need to pull the switch up with at least 2 digits slide it down then release into the off indent. One for each engine.

Really sad news breaking that Ioane Moananu is off to the Waratahs. He played a big part in our campaign when injuries happened. Played bloody well too.
Guess you’ve gotta chase starting spots though. Tahs got a good one there.

Apart from the myriad of issues at Apollo Projects stadium, my greatest was probably the insanely close seating. On a sold out game you were literally rubbing shoulders with the people next to you. There is no way you could avoid touching any size adult next to you (worse than economy airlines). Tha...

Wasn't sure where to post this but here is as good as anywhere... Wallabies midfielder Lalakai Foketi is set to follow James O’Connor’s lead by jumping across the Tasman and playing his Super Rugby in New Zealand. The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Hamilton-born Waratahs player is set to retu...

How tragic the biggest population franchise can’t produce or retain any new All Blacks. Considering the Blues were 2nd to last of the NZ teams with a 6 win and 8 loss season, its pretty fair representation. We made it into the semi's which we lost to a Jordan knock on try and won the title last yea...

Ethan Blackadder has re-signed with the Crusaders and New Zealand Rugby until 2026, despite missing out on the All Blacks squad to face France. The 30-year-old said it was an easy decision to put pen to paper, ensuring he’ll get the chance to run out on Christchurch’s new Te Kaha Stadium next year....

He again does a terrible job in assigning what the digital numbers actually mean. For xample: The most popular match of the regular season was the Blues v Hurricanes in early March. It drew an audience of nearly 504,000 on Sky Sport and Sky Open, plus 139,000 on digital channels Sky Go and Sky Spor...

So the Highlanders are actually the closest to being privately owned as NZR only owns 10%. Seems only the Blues and Highlanders have NZ Rugby ownership? But then the unions must be NZ Rugby owned as well? The Crusaders and Chiefs look the least NZ Rugby owned? Yea I couldn't work out who "owns" the...

Yes, there was something else behind the paywall about WR wanting to lessen its contributions because it hasn't made the PI nations stronger on the world stage. Doesn't bloody help when the best MP players are taken by the 5 kiwi sides. The Whānau Ora money being used is not a great look either. $12...

Would be a shame to lose them just as they have started having some success but on the other side of the coin being propped up by $7 million of NZ taxpayers money is not a long term solution. Super Rugby Pacific has been unable to back up the strong broadcast growth it delivered in 2024, despite the Crusaders v Chiefs final being the highest-rating decider since the Hurricanes-Lions final in 2016. Well I certainly didn't expect to win a title this year. I was happy with improvement from last year, and playing post-season Rugby would have been enough for me. I still felt that this team is rebuilding, and was at least another season away from being a serious title contender. Mainly because we ...

For the OP Apollo Projects Stadium*
I’ll be in Indonesia from Monday for 2 weeks so won’t go out of my way to see it. Good luck to both teams and let’s hope it’s a good game.
Weather forecast all week is dry in Christchurch so that’s a plus.
