Re: SRP R6 - Highlanders v Hurricanes - Game of the round?

Hoping to be able to catch this game live, looking forward to what I see as a closer match up than the TAB are giving it. Highlanders to give a good account of themselves against the table topping Hurricanes.

Wow, this speaks volumes about the game in NZ nowadays. If being the first choice 10 and the starter in super rugby for the foreseeable future is not a drawcard anymore…? Injured first five-eighth Fergus Burke, 24, has been linked with English club Saracens, with Crusaders coach Rob Penney saying a ...

Looks like NZR has already made the decision Fans of New Zealand provincial rugby teams might no longer be able to see their sides on television from 2026, as Sky TV and New Zealand Rugby radically reduce National Provincial Championship coverage. NZR this week told provincial bosses the NPC is like...

Re: The state of the NZRU..

I think jtah's point is that the Warriors and SOO are loved, not the NRL in general, the viewership for it is poor and only spiked by the hype train in years like last year solely focused on the Warriors. Therefore, expecting NRL to fill the void is unrealistic. I personally don't mind what NZRU do...

Just seen the match. Hurricanes should’ve won by 20pts but any win in Christchurch is hard won so a good win to the Canists. Crusaders look well off the pace. Only Sevu Reece looks like a shadow of his former self. My sentiments exactly. Canes had so many opportunities to win by two scores. Regardl...
