Ravenous, yes. Undermines itself a bit too much with comedic touches. Duel's a thriller.

Re: Your Top 10 All Time Horror Movies

Pan's Labyrinth. I guess it's more fantasy, but it ticks more good horror boxes than most horror films that are just gore. And obviously Night of the Living Dead It's a good film, but a good horror? I wouldn't say so. It's not remotely scary, though the design of the various creatures is top notch.

Surprised Hereditary hasn't been mentioned more tbh. Saw it in cinemas and it was just a great experience going through it with everyone else, particularly the second half where the movie just goes nuts. It's pants and Aster's next effort is one of few films to actually make me regret sitting throu...

Re: Your Top 10 All Time Horror Movies

No particular order.

Alien
Scream
Halloween (original)
Ils
The VVitch
28 Days Later
Trick 'r Treat
Ginger Snaps
The Strangers
It Follows

I watch tons of horror, the vast majority struggles to get past 3 stars and most of the 'classics' don't hold up.

Re: Top 10 Movies since 2010

Charlize Theron in atomic blonde was just pure screen presence. That's an underrated film actually, one of the best action films of the 2010s. Indeed - I'd like a sequel I assume there's one coming. I'm not a huge fan of hers (I know she's objectively attractive but I personally don't find her all ...

Why do you like Nightcrawler? I love Jake, but for some reason he was just annoying in this... maybe I just didn't like the character.. 😂 You're not supposed to like him, he's clearly got some kind of personality disorder and is super creepy with it, but it's a great performance. I think that is fair. I note they imposed a 5 match ban rather than a 5 week ban. I wonder if future bans will be measured in matches rather than weeks? Think it's only the case because his team's playing 2 matches in a week. RWC is the same using matches instead of weeks as they're not just playin...
